Support FIU Students in our Nation's Capital
Every year, a group of motivated students and recent graduates like Pamela, Myriam and Tomas embark on the path you once did: to follow their dreams in the nation’s capital and earn a competitive internship.
Yet for most students, these dreams are simply out of reach. Many of our students are the first in their families to attend college, and nearly 50 percent of our undergrads depend on financial aid to support their studies alone. The prospect of a life-changing internship or job opportunity in Washington is not within their reach, although they represent the exciting future of our country.
We invite you to join with us to Make A Difference and help us open doors for our students in the nation’s capital.
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen Legacy Project and Fellowship Program
The innovative Fellowship Program honors the career of Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, an unparalleled trailblazer who left a lasting impact on Florida and the world beyond it. It recognizes that more must be done to ensure our hometown’s future leadership is well prepared to face the realities of our national challenges, economic trends and global dynamics. With your support, we can provide new leadership opportunities for students seeking to make an impact on the world and further the legacy of Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen.
