What do you love most about FIU and your involvement here?

I have loved being part of the growth and continuous evolvement of the University over the past two decades. It is never boring; there is something new to work towards everyday — a new goal, a new opportunity for our students.

What advice would you give to a potential donor who is considering investing in FIU?

When you invest in FIU, you invest in the future, you invest in the community.

Why do you think giving back is important to the advancement of FIU and its students?

We have been given the opportunity to do something meaningful. So just as we have been given the opportunity, it is important for us to give back to FIU so opportunities can be available and provided to our current and future students. We must create a culture of giving.
