Dr. Sneh Gulati graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1991 with a PhD in statistics. She has been working at Florida International University since her graduation. Dr. Gulati received tenure in 1996 and promotion to full professor in 2005. During her long tenure at FIU, she has held several leadership positions, examples include (but are not limited to); chair of department of statistics, associate chair of department of mathematics and statistics, chair of the college assembly for the college of arts and sciences etc. She has taught a wide variety of courses at FIU, supervised several masters students and served on numerous thesis and dissertation committees. He researches interests include non-parametric statistics, goodness of fit techniques and catastrophe modeling. She has co-authored one book and one edited book and published over forty articles in peer reviewed journals.
