Bio

Jason Saltzman is a seasoned entrepreneur and business writer, contributing to several business publications such as INC, Entrepreneur Media, and Forbes. His work is published in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and CNN. In 2010 Jason co-founded the technology company SeamlessDocs, a technology platform used by government organizations across the world. In 2012 Jason founded Alley (alley.com). Alley was initially a startup incubator that grew into an innovation agency connecting large organizations to startup communities.  Alley made the “Inc 5000” list of “Fasting Growing Companies” three consecutive years during his tenure as CEO. In 2016, through an equity transaction with Verizon, Jason launched Alley powered by Verizon. Alley powered by Verizon became a national business incubator where startups can be connected to emerging technology featured by Verizon and their 5G Labs Team. 

 

Today, aside from his role as Chairman of Alley, Jason is a Professor for Florida International University (FIU) and serves on the University Board of Directors as it’s Vice Chair of Enterprise Growth. In partnership with FIU Jason has built several mentorship programs connecting students to industry experts and successful startup founders. He is a Mentor for the Techstars accelerator program and is an active angel investor.
