Giving back is often transformational, for both the person(s) giving and the recipient. In giving back, we are helping to sustain and grow a university that in itself is transforming the minds, hearts and lives of students every day. In giving back, we can make a difference.

What do you love most about FIU and your involvement here?

I most love being part of a forward-thinking institution that not only provides access to an affordable, high quality education, but for our students, their families, communities and beyond, FIU is also providing them access to a better future.

What advice would you give to a potential donor who is considering investing in FIU?

Investing in FIU is investing in the success of our students, whether through direct support of students who otherwise would not be able to afford a university education, or through support of our faculty, programs and facilities. Everyone has a story, and I would encourage a potential donor to share his or her own story so that in connecting what you value and feel most passionate about, we can help you to make an impact, whether on the life of someone, or on something that will enable you to leave a legacy that will live on through the next generation at FIU.

Why do you think giving back is important to the advancement of FIU and its students?

Giving back is often transformational, for both the person(s) giving and the recipient. In giving back, we are helping to sustain and grow a university that in itself is transforming the minds, hearts and lives of students every day. In giving back, we can make a difference.
